The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Book Online
First a Million Sales E-Book?
Several days ago Amazon announced that Stieg Larsson's book "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" has become the first e-book is sold in a million of copies.
Maybe "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" wasn't the first e-book to cross the million download copies barrier because Amazon simply isn't the only company to sell e-books. However, the owner of the second biggest e-book store, Barnes & Noble, is quite about its sales so far.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson
The recent sensation across Europe now becoming a bestseller in the U.S., Stieg Larsson's first novel "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", has been a smash hit throughout Europe since its 2005 publication in the author's native Sweden language. But the bitter twist in Larsson's success story is that he didn't live to see "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" published: he died of a heart attack just after he delivered the manuscripts for this book and the two which follow it.
It's hard to find fault with "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo". One must struggle with bewildering Swedish names, but that's a small price to pay. The story starts off at a leisurely pace, but the reader soon surrenders to Larsson's skillful narrative. We care about his characters because we come to know them so well.
